I've tried Northern Tool, the local farm store and even a large CAT dealer/repair shop in Des Moines and simply cannot find the bushings.

Yes, I've even tried several JD dealerships -- those that have them stock a thin bushing that leaves play around the pin and doesn't stablilze the implement.

Where, oh where can I find these thick bushings that will offer a good fit with the iMatch openings?

Thanks everyone.

I'm not sure of what you are asking for but it would seem to be a non stock size.

Perhaps a machine shop can produce some for you.

Didn't we get a drill press and metal lathe into that tool box of yours??

Try this.

For the bottom bushings use two lift arm bushings inside each other, a Cat-1 to Cat-2 on the inside and a Cat-2 to Cat-3 on the outside. The part number for Cat1-Cat2 bushings is PM00351 and the Cat2-Cat3 bushings are PM03009. This is far cheaper than the thick iMatch bushings anyway.

For the top bushing do a similar thing with PM00353 on the inside and PM03008 on the outside.

It might cost you $8.00 for all of 'em, which is cheaper than the $13.00 they want for each iMatch bushing.

Egon,

Had to leave the press and lathe out in order to fit the Honda generator! I'm after the round bushings that go over the top link and lower arm pins (I think to move in size from Category I to Category II. With those on the pins, the iMatch fits perfectly. I have one set that I keep changing from implement to implement, which is okay, but I'd like to find some that can remain on the various implements.

By the way, I'm getting ready to start the house and with costs the way they are, a bench vise will be hard to add to the tool list!!!

I will make calls to machine shops -- these shouldn't be hard to produce. I'm really surprised that JD doesn't handle them; at least I can't find any among the dealers around here.

JMIII -- do you have any ideas on where to get these?

It conveniently happened that I received these part numbers from Bad River yesterday when I ordered my iMatch receiver hitch. I'm not sure they will work in your situation but for the price it's worth a try. Hope so! Let us know...

Hi Bill

I like the Speeco quick hitch bushings there is a pic of em here http://www.speeco.com/asp/display.asp?view=top&category=Quick+Hitch+Replacement+Hardware

I get them at a local Minn and Wis chain called Fleet Farm, not sure if they are down that way or not. I pay about 10 bucks a pair at Fleet Farm, Tractor Supply also has them, but they are close to 20 bucks a pair. I see the Speeco web site has a lot of bushings under "Products", looks like you may be able to order right from them. There is a Fleet Farm right on 35 near Burnsville Mn, just south of the twin cities if ya ever get up that way.

Hi Bill,

To be honest with ya... my original Speeco bushings are still wrapped up in tape... I never used "any" bushings with the Speeco Quick Hitch... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I guess one secret would be to "keep moving and don't stop working"... and don't let up on the pressure... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Tractor Supply Co. has what you're seeking. They're made by Speeco but should certainly work with the iMatch, I would think, unless the lower hooks are notably smaller than the Speeco quick hitch. They're about $18 per pair, as I recall, and are very well machined and fit very nicely.

I sure wish they'd put a Tractor Supply in NW Oregon or SW Washington.
