Need suggestions on top cylinder

I need some suggestions. I just bought a new Kubota 4330HSTC with Kubota supplied TnT. When I reinstalled my Pat's EZ change onto the Kubota it became apparant that the top cylinder is too short to allow the box blade to tip over enough to allow smoothing with the rear blade. The dealer is trying but says he can't find a cylinder that is the ~3" longer that the Pat's sets back the lower connections. He wants to weld an extention onto the top end of the cylinder. Can you guys tell me what is a good working length and stroke for a top cylinder that will be used with a Pat's EZ change?

Both my original manual top link and Kubota's hydraulic replacement opened up to around 31 to 33 inches, can't remember exactly. (L4330) Seemed like more than I would ever need although I don't have the hitch like yours. Maybe they used the wrong one on yours?

Although you didn't ask, you might check to see if those TNT cylinders leak down before you let the dealer attack it with a welder. Its really a pain on the side link if they leak. If they do leak down, I would use this opportunity to get a credit for Kubota's cylinders and then go buy a set from Integration Engineering with the piloted check valves. Also they have cylinders in various lengths so you may get a proper cylinder length without a patch job.
