This is definitely worth checking into. If it is an old barn someone will undoubtedly pay you to allow them to take it down and haul it away. If it is Chestnut, start smiling now. Even if it isn't, there is a good chance it is old growth hardwood worth it's weight in gold. makes me want to go start up the table saw just thinking about it.
