what kind of tires, brand included, gives the best traction yet does not rip up turf for lawn mowing on hills? My tires are hard edged being old and slip pretty easy going uphill. Need a good tread design that won't cut up turf yet give maximum traction for general usage. thanks

I have a G6200, and use it on hills. The stock R-3s (23x10.5x12) did okay, but then I mounted R-1s (23x8x12). Although uphill traction increased, the biggest advantage I found was now I can go downhill with much more control. I used the 8", since I had a extra set of rims. The R-1s I bought were 4ply Carlise. No problems, but I do go easy on sharp turns. Mounted I paid $200. Another thing that greatly improved the G6200 performance was a rear weight, but wheel weights would also work well.
