I need to have the two Unimogs that I just bought in Tenn. hauled up to NY. Anyone know of a trucker coming this way or of a site on the net that truckers go to, to find someone who can haul them up here. Thanks, Von
Go over to YTmag.com and look at the menu on the left of thier web page. They have a forum called "Hauling Schedule". You'll find someone who can haul those Mogs there.
I agree with the YT hauling schedule site. I had a HD6G Allis chalmers dozer about 8 tons, hauled from CT to IL in 2002 for 600 bucks. Arrived in perfect shape, and on time.
If they are driveable, it would probably be cheaper to pay someone to drive them up. That's what many car dealers do when they find a vehicle for a customer in another state.
Altho 'Mogs look like trucks, they are more like tractors. Maybe 35mph top speed with perfect runing gear and at that you would be talking single digit mpg's.
Not realistic to drive cross country. BUT, extremely cool never the less!! I'm Jealous, Von!
