I'm in need of a tractor for lot clearing for a new house and general maintenance around my 10ac wooded property. All the big clearing will be done with a rental. I will need to move the logs from one end of the property to the other after the rental knocks them down.

I will be maintaining a 2000ft driveway.
Backfilling for my house, general grading and lot leveling where needed. A few tasks will require lifting 2k # pallets of rock off a flat bed.
Not really sure what else I'll be using it for but I'm sure I will find uses.

I've come across 3 tractors I'm very interested in

2002 4310 HST woods/FEL 350hrs for 15k
2004 m6800 Standard shuttle shift wood/FEL 750hrsfor 19k
2005 4330 HST 912hrs Kubota/FEL, box blade, and Grapple bucket 15500.

Wanted to get some input on which way to go. The idea of having the larger m6800 is nice until I think about having to move in and around trees with a clutch and a larger Machine.

Any Help would be appreciated

Ditto... 2005 4330 HST 912hrs Kubota/FEL, box blade, and Grapple bucket 15500. HST is really nice. Have you seen any of these, how rough/new looking are they?

Oh, and welcome to TBN!!!

How do you get a 2000' driveway on only 10 acres?

Another 2 cents - The M6800 is a great machine - and after operating it a few hours in the woods it likely will not seem oversized at all. It's weight and strength will be welcome for land clearing/cleanup. For 25% more, the M6800 is 50% more tractor. Power is good. So is weight. Take care, Dick B
