Helping friend with a MF275 with power adjustable rims. I understand the design, but am new to it.
The left side rim is fine and is locked in place. The right side rim seems to be 'loose' and when moving forward or backward, the rim will spin in/out a little bit until it hits the stop adjusters which just seems to be bolts that go through the adjusting rails. I see there are some small widgets that bolt to the tractor hub and then slide on those rails welded to the rim which does the adjustments. Those widgets seem like they are too big, or don't fit right on those sliding rails. Anyone have an idea why the rim is so loose? As far as I know, both rear rims are the same design and size.
Are these power adjustable rims and components standardized, or are there design variations? I remember it did not have this problem previously until it went into the shop for various repairs and 2 or 3 of those 'widgets' were replaced for some reason.
