I am considering a new lawn mower for my two acre lot... one is a used 1995 Grassshopper 61" desiel with a vac system, in excellent condition (600 hours but it was used on single residence, not a commercially used one). The guy is asking $3500 for it... vs, a 2007 Woods Heritage rear discharge 3 pt finishing mowing deck in like new condition for $1100.. in the past I used a Ford 930A finishing mowing deck but sold it with my Kubota B1750. Now I have a Kubota B7500 I could use the Woods on.. anyone have any recommendations on which unit would be best and the price the sellers are asking??? Thanks for your time
PS I just looked at it and it is in decent shape but the seller thought it had 600 hrs on it but it really had 1600 hrs on it.. seemed to work fine, a bit loud though.. I thought that was a lot of money for a 16 yo machine with 1600 hrs on it but I called a Grasshopper dealer not in my area to avoid a conflict of interest and he thought it was a reasonable price... still interested in anyone's experience or thoughts on this...
