I went romping through the woods with it. It seems quite stable, but I don't think I'll be hanging mirrors on it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Last note: Not real visible on the site are the corner plates. Each corner has a 4"x4" triangle dadoed into them to strengthen the corners. Without them, I think the joint would fracture over time.
Yep, I much preferred the canopy I had on my B2710, but when I had the B7100 my brother made me something similar (but not as neat and pretty as yours). He simply welded up a frame of 1" square tubular steel, used some old RV awning fabric he had, put grommets around the edges, and made it big enough to come down below and around the frame with bungy cords stretched from one side to the other to hold it on. It sure beats umbrellas.
