There are plenty of empty bolt holes to mount skid plate brackets on most tractors I've seen. I will admit to being a member of the club. I have knocked off a hydraulic filter and broke its mount twice. Once by a stump and once by pole vaulting off of a stick. Both times while brush hogging and becuase of my HST tranny this means that after about 3 seconds I have no hydraulic control of the loader, the 3ph, the steering, or the drivetrain. I had the pleasure of hand winching the tractor to the the trailer and then up and on to the trailer with a come-a-long. Not fun at all.
Only a few members have made skid plates but the ones shown have been nice. I keep procrastinating on it. A new filter and mount is about 100$.
