I posted this pic almost two months ago. I'll repost it for comparison's sake
and show the same scene two months later, but from a bit more distant
vantage. The fence in the foreground is my property line in each pic.
Reason I'm showing it is because I will be closing on the property in the
background end of December, 16 acres! Can't see them in the picture, but
there's a run-in barn/shed and a very small pond. The 16 acres is divided up into 3 separate fenced fields.
So the horses will no longer neighbors, they will be boarders! Six retired racers.
Now I need to study up on pasture management and look into getting a drag
harrow. The horses will go back into the far field come March and the other
two fields back to hay. Any advice?
