never to old to learn just harder

This past week, a nurse asked me to try to remember THREE words, and she gave me three common words to remember. Then she gave me a piece of paper with about a 2" square drawn on it. She asked me to draw a circle in that square. That was easy. Then she said to label the circle like a clock. Still easy. Then she said to draw the hands on the clock at 10:15. Still easy. I was doing just great I THOUGHT. And then she asked me what the 3 words were that she asked me to remember. I could not remember a single one of them! Kinda scary.

I know what you mean, I still learn and like to learn but it seems my hard disk only stores what is important now and erases everything that did not leave a big impression some time ago.
