New-to-me of course... It has 670hrs, yatta-yatta... But, there's an interesting dilemma that I hope you guys could help with.
The seller bought it new, and stated; "Serviced regularly." ..but had no records. I called the selling dealer where he said it was serviced and the last record of him was a 'Winter inspection' in 2006. (I am awaiting a copy of the service detail. Nice of Atlantic Tractor to do that .. most car dealers talk about 'customer's privacy'.)
So what should I do first? Zero-timing fluids is the first, first thing, but is there anything else I should do .. or something specific to Green or the 1070 model I should anticipate before it happens.
I've been looking for about 6-8wks .. found lots of other Deere, Kubota and New Holland in that $10-15k range. Most were at the lower end of the HP range I was looking for. Most also were Hydro. I have had a 1957 Fuyrgeson F-40 for the last 15yrs, so a geared tractor is normal for me.
