got back from the dealer , tested new 1533 SS priced at $ 21245 USD .dealer checking price for 1540 SS, engine same but turbo ,want to see if it is worth the extra cash .massey prices going up on new orders april 1 st . kubota prices went up already. i already have a 1428v hydro TLB . the 1533 is much bigger , heavier , ,stronger,than my 1428v hydro which i'm keeping . the 1533 is needed for ground engagement n pto equipmemt for hobby farming n deer food plots .

No input, but we will be using our 1533 for same type stuff, it seems. Good luck with whatever you choose

Dealer called me about the 1540 SS. Would have to order it ,
At the price tag of $ 25250 USD. A. $ 4105 for 7 more HP with the turbo
The 1533 is on the lot and I test drove that one.

wow for thoughs prices why not go with a 1635 0r 1643 ?I got my 1643 in dec. and paid less. $23,500.00 w/ power shuttle and loader.
not trying to sell you on a 1600, but the 1500 is being phased out.

I just bought a 1648 for 23k with 50 hrs, demo unit, but could have gotten a 1643 for about the same price brand new according to the dealer. I was set on the 43 til he had this 48 for the same price, when I saw the loader specs and 3 point lift specs, It didn't take long to decide. That was with power shuttle and loader, and there should be a free loader program right now, there was for mine.

going back today , got a price for a L4400 kubota from 3 dealers all around the same price. the massey has a better 3pt set up , pto engagement , more comfy seat , syncro shuttle,and a few other little things too. loader program is free loader or 0%.

back from dealer, buying the 1533 SS loader , bucket 66" r4 tires adding a 2 spoll remote dealer installed ,theres a lever bracket aready there for that option. delivery and paper work in week or so .dealer will do 1st service no labor fee. the 1400 series discontinued 6 yrs ago , and my 1428v tlb still runnig great .
