New 1538 On The Way

After spending a lot of time researching tractors I decided yesterday to go with my initial idea of a Mahindra. Went to my local dealer and walked around for a while. It ultimately came down to a decision between the 2540 and 1538. Ended up going with the 1538 because the ergonomics was a little better for the loader and it was $4000 less than the 2540. The dealer is working on the financing and stuff and they have to prep the tractor and get the cutter and box blade ready. Hoping to go pick it up Monday or Tuesday.

I recently went and looked at the LS tractors and was very impressed by them but the dealer there was smaller and not nearly as well established as my local Mahindra dealer.

Well the dealership called and said that they misquoted me on the 1538 shuttle and are selling me a 2538 HST for the same price. Can't complain there.

Enjoy it my friend---I have had my 4540 4x4 w/ FEL for a little over a month now, and there is nothing more I enjoy than getting some seat time on it every weekend
