Greetings All,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I live in northern Ontario and just purchased the 1626 with box blade and 64 inch berco rear mount snowblower to clear snow, maintain my gravel driveway and help out with firewood processing. I did about 3 months of research and following that determined that I wanted a "simple" tractor with the least amount of electronics. The dealer said its the only model that he can't plug his laptop into, so he immediately had my attention. It's a lower HP model, but its heavy and all the reviews I came across were quite favorable.
This is my first tractor. I was not partial to any color, the kubota B2650 sure was a nice machine but expensive. The kubota dealer in my area is 2 hours away and the Mahindra dealer is 8 miles away and has been in business since the 1960's selling farm equipment and other gardening supplies. They picked up the Mahindra line about 8 years ago. Really knowledgable guys and they seem to go out of their way to make their customers happy. They sell green tractors too, but they said they don't compare to the red based on bang for buck.
Looking forward to being a tractorbynet member and working my tractor!!
