New 2008 X300 vs. Used 2007 X304

My dealer has a slightly used 2007 X304 available for the same price as a brand new 2008 X300. I'm trying to decide between the two. Any feedback is appreciated.

New 2008 X300
- 4 year warranty
- 2 wheel steering
- Can purchase with 12 months no interest no payments

Used 2007 X304
- 28 hours of use
- 1 year of warranty remaining
- 4 wheel steering
- Stronger transmission (not available in 2008 X304)


Which one would you buy and why?

I don't have any concrete suggestions as I'm not familiar with these units, but I'll bump your post. This forum does not seem as active with lawn and garden tractors as compact utility tractors and implements.

I have had a Deere 165 lawn tractor for over 20 years and it still runs fine but that is the extent of my experience on Deere's lawn tractor equipment line. But I use it mostly for trimming or bagging if needed.

You might try a Google search for lawn garden tractor forum for more response or x300 vs x304. Also the 4 wheel steering would be nice (but it is a potential source of trouble) and power steering imo is most important.
