Bought my wife a new mail/garbage/yardwork/fishing vehicle for our 80 acres.
We put 10 hrs on it so far and are very pleased with it.
She lets me drive it sometimes.

Bought a 2010 800 XP Camo just b4 Memorial Day. Just had oil changed at 20 hours...we love it also. We have used a lot with the grandkids...I may have purchased a regular Sportsman ATV if it were not for the three wide seating :)

We have 80 acres with our house...and a cabin 30 miles away where we also just bought another 40 acres of woods less than 1/2 miles from the cabin.

Now I "need" a tractor also!

Tom R in Two Harbors, MN...winter is closing in!

Congrats on the new purchase. I'm very curious about this new EV. Please keep us updated since it is a new model. Let us know what your likes and dislikes are, and any problems you may have with it.

I'm also interested in the ev. I have an 08xp that I love. But I wish it was quiet.

If you put a generator in the bed you could have a Hybrid!!

Nice ideal but all the stuff you have to get just to put a winch on it makes it a no go for what I need. Besides the Polaris RZR is alot more fun at the dunes.

The best part about the EV is that it's Quiet!
I drive up on deer laying down all the time. Everything has been working without any problems, except for a couple of rattles. When shifting from 1wd to 2wd to 4wd there is absolutely no grinding like I've heard about with some of the gas models.
So far it has 65 hours and has not needed any water added to the batts.I check them every few days.
Most of my trails are pretty tight so the 25mph limit is not a problem at all.
A Honda 3000 ie gen. does not bog down at all when charging the EV.
That really surprised me.
When considering fuel, motor oil,filters,etc...I think it's a good local running machine.

Pretty slick. Now if the battery lasts and it is not too expensive to replace it might catch on. The dog looks happy also. Looks like a pleasure cruiser to me. No gardening going on with that wardrobe.
I like your benches by the lake. Reminds me I have to build some for the pond / woods. Definately have to keep us in the loop with updates.

I've heard the batteries can be replaced with regular golf cart batts. The poodle loves to g-o she always loads up.We also have a big black lab and they play together.
My wife just happened to be wearing the dress and sandals that day.
She has helped me butcher at least 20 deer etc.. over the years.
haha
As with my other utv's the ev will be hauling wood to the fireplace and dead animals/fish to the dinner table.
We love living in the woods and only go to town about once a week.
