I have the same tractor but cabela's with wood's loader. Great tractor with plenty of power. I have pulled some huge trees through the woods with it. I am having problems with my LCD also but cabela's won't repair it. First thing I did when I got the tractor was to remove the DPF and put antifreeze/water in the rear tires. Pulles almost as good at ag tires in the mud. Good luck with it and enjoy.

You removed the DPF? How difficult was that to do? I would think the tractor would be throwing codes like crazy?

Took the DPF canister off by removing the bolts( 6 or 8 I think, don't remember), Took a piece of wood and a hammer and drove the filter out of the canister and reinstalled he canister. Kept the filter but I don't know why :). There is no reason to throw codes. Yes it removes some back pressure and the tractor will not regen but that's all. Probably took 30 mins to remove it a put it back together. I left the cat. It may give codes if I removed it because the exhaust temp. would be lower.

Interesting, I’ve often wondered if that would work.

That TYM is very similar if not the same as my Mahindra 2655 (or the previous 2555) with the only real difference being the engine. Most of the Mahindra 2555/2655 is built by TYM. I looked at TYM but went with Mahindra due to lack of TYM dealers in my area and the only TYM dealer just took on the line about a year ago and tractors aren't their primary business. I needed to know I had a reliable dealer and there are 5 Mahindra dealers within an hour of me.

I had a few issues that I covered earlier with parts broken/missing when the tractor was delivered. Red's in TX promptly sent me everything I needed to make it right so kudos to them. The only other issue was very minor...needed to adjust the brakes. That's it.

I've put about 25 hours on the machine without a single issue. I upgraded from a MF GC1710 to this one. It's WAY more tractor than I even thought it would be. I can't get over the power! Everything works great. It's very comfortable to drive and reach all of the controls. I'm very happy with it. Especially when I can plow snow in a t-shirt!

The nearest TYM dealer is in the Coeur d'Alene area...about 115 miles from me. However, there are plenty of independent shops in the area that will work on it if needed and the Kubota dealer has also said he'd be happy to service it (obviously I'd have to pay for it). Any serious warranty issues and I guess I'll take it to CDA.

I don't know a lot about tractors but I'm learning. Having said that I'm amazed at how heavy-duty everything on this machine seems to be compared to a comparable MF. TYM puts a lot of things standard on their machines that some other brands don't and I like that.

I'm saving my allowance for a grapple bucket of some sort to help with clean-up of our property. I already had a 6' blade that was perfect for my 1710 but it's a little small for this tractor. It works but it's marginal. I need to get one that's a bit bigger. Also added some pallet forks to the implement collection.

My only "complaint" is with the shuttle shift transmission. I really wish I'd gone with an HST. The shuttle shift works fine it's just not nearly as convenient. That's the only thing I'd change.

First regen today at 33.6 hours. I noticed it had started right away while the tractor was idling. I got in and throttled it up to about 2250 rpm for about 5 mins. Then I drove it down our 1/2 mile drive and started back to the house. It finished the regen cycle before I got back. It I'd been working it I would've probably never known it did the regen cycle.

I really liked the T454 and put about 40 hours on it. Solid tractor. But I sold it.

The shuttle shift is what did me in. It worked fine but I just didn't like it at all, over time. I sold it for what I paid for it and I'm waiting for a JD 2038R.

If I could've found the same tractor with HST I probably would've bought that but couldn't. Not at a price I could live with, anyway. Shipping was the deal killer.
