Well I just got a new 2210 on my birthday. I had the 54" MMM Rhino lined and finally have it adjusted and now find that the 3PH must be used to lift it. That is a problem to me as I use a box scraper along with a 72"MM scraper blade at the same time and am trying to figure out how to add another small cylinder to lift the MM scraper blade as well as how to add a positive stop to the 3PH to control the depth of the box scraper. Has anyone else ever added an indendependt lift for the MMM and if so where did you hook into the hydralucs.
Thanks

No FEL? so no dual SCV control? Either way, seems there would be your source for power beyond.

Happy Birthday Denny!

I believe this is the trade-off for not having position control... Anyway, let's see if those creative folks on this forum can come up with some kind of solution! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Last weekend when I hooked up the Trac Vac to my 2210 to pickup leaves. I discovered I needed stops for the 3 point hitch so I could keep the vac hitch high enough so it would not drag the ground. With some eye bolts, S hooks & chain, I made some stops that worked out very well. I will try to post some pictures in the next couple days.
I also have been thinking about installing a seperate lift cylinder for the MMM. I was going to do as beenthere said & use the loader control valve. That will be a winter job.

The chains and eye hooks sounds doable thanks for the idea and I will be interested in looking at how you did it.
thanks again

Deere sells a lock up kit for the 4000 tractors, but I think with the mower height dial on the 2210 you can basically do the same thing,, you can lock the mower deck all the way up.

The Trac-Vac systems are a pain in the a$$. We put one on last year, and they had all these parts to deal with the deck lift, etc. It came with 2 long straps to hold the vaccuum system in place, allowing the rockshaft to lift and lower the mower deck. I'm pretty sure it meant removing the lift arms from the 3ph. Not an easy changeover for the average joe.

but, boy did that suck,, leaves that is.!

Denny,
I am attaching pictures of the chain stops I installed on my 2210. I used heavy duty 1/2" eye bolts & mounted them in the existing holes in the ROPS braces. I used 3/16" chain & 1/4" S hooks.
