I know there were a couple of subjects on the 2350's but I still have some questions. I have owned my 2350 for about six months and love it. It is my first tractor. Sometimes I wish I would have bought the 24 or a little more horsepower but it is a strong little tractor. First I was wondering what is the limit to adding lights? I like to have the headlights on but I need to add a light on the rops or the hood to light over the loader and I need one out the rear to see the box blade or grader blade. What is my limit as I would like to be able to have them on at the same time. Is it a hard project to add a remote hydraulics out the rear. Has anyone added a backhoe to the 2350? Also what kind of projects has everyone done with there bx 23 and 24's? I have cleared about a half acre of scrub brush with the bucket, dug a patio and leveled it, and regraded the driveway (what a learning experience:D )?

Welcome to TBN and congratulations on your BX. Who wouldn't want more HP but it always comes at a cost in both $$$ but more importantly in size and weight. I suspect most people choosing s SCUT do so because they are also using it to mow grass with a MMM. IMO I would not want any more weight on my yard than the BX2350 so for me it's the right choice. I also could get anything bigger in my garage. :)
Keep checking in and /or look through older posts and you will find a lot of project people do with BX tractors. My respect for this little work horse grows every time I see what some other have accomplished.
There are a number of threads on adding lights to the BX but If I was to make a synopsis I would say if your draw is requirements are reasonable, say two standard aux. lights at one time the standard alternator will do fine but if you want more you might have to look at an upgrade.
Some threads on the Alt issue.
BX Alternator kit installation (project)
I'm sure people have added back hoes to BX2350 as they are almost the same platform as the BX24. Also there are a lot of third party suppliers like Woods out there but it is not a inexpensive attachment if purchased as an add-on.

Thank you for the quick reply. I also bought mine for the 60" mmm. It works great and I do think that bigger probably would not work for mowing the yard, but it would be fun trying. I think I will get the alternator kit as I am not sure how many lights I want to run.

The BX24 has the 40 amp alternator as standard equipment. I assume the 2350 does as well. That lets you run lots of lights.

I will check that tomorrow. Thank you for the input. Any other suggestions would be great.
