Forgot to mention-tires are loaded.
First job up there is knocking down several acres of scotch pines. I try to get up there for 3 or 4 day weekends, time enough to get some work done.
When I first moved to Scio Township there was a lot of farmland and some forest around here. Now It's all subdivisions and condo complexes-

penokee - thanks for the help. I finally decided on the ATI grapple. It should make short work of the brush clearing and hauling I have ahead.

Congrats on your purchase decision. I see your tree farm is west of TC and you live in or near AA. Small world. We lived in AA for many years and now call Interlochen (west of TC) home. Did you order your tractor from the Kubota dealer in Williamsburg? They delivered ours 5 days ago, and we've already put several hours on it. Looking forward to the first big snow to put our new blower through its paces - only got an inch out of this week's snow event.

Lots of building going on up in these parts too - many, many changes since we began coming up here in the 60s.

Affirmative on the Kubota dealer in Williamsburg. Will call them tomorrow for a delivery date, hopefully around next weekend. Our place is on the outskirts of Empire near Glen Arbor. hope to move up there eventually.
I went to Interlochen for a two week session back in high school (a long time ago!). Finally returned for a concert summer before last. What a great place!

I called the dealer and got a tentative delivery date for next Monday, weather permitting. They have to ship one down from one of their other dealerships in northern Michigan. They sell them so fast, they can't keep them in stock. I'll post some pics when I get it. Thanks again to all for the advice!
