Hello all,

New here, been doing some research on a new purchase and finally took the plunge. I guess I want to get a sanity check on if I got a decent deal or not. Here is the run down, new 3200, 54" deck with rollers, 54" blade, front hitch, power angle kit, chains and wheel weights for $7500.

How did I do?

Welcome aboard! Sounds good to me for all that. You can bet a comparable JD setup would have been $10K+

Before all the discounts it was just under $10K, so I thought $7500 was pretty decent.

Thanks for the welcome.

Got another question. Can you leave the front hitch assy on the tractor and still put the mower deck on? Guess I could wait till I get the thing but Saurday is a long way off!

Well, the machine was delivered this AM about 1030. Very nice piece of equipment! So far everything works perfectly and it will move some snow, I must give it that.

The blade actually has down pressure so that was a nice surprise. Power angle is great, move a lever and right or left it goes. Diff lock, wow what a difference that is..push into a pile and spin, touch the diff lock pedal and off you go, pretty cool.

Overall, nice machine....we will see how it holds up now.

Just be careful with that diff lock if you aren't used to it :)

Engaged at the wrong time, when you turn the wheel it will continue to go straight on you, maybe into something you didn't intend on hitting. I've done it :)

I think Nascar calls this a 'push' LOL

Oh man I will have to keep that in mind, I know it helps it track straight with a heavy load of snow on a angled blade.

I did manage to get it stuck this weekend, even the diff lock wouldnt help it. 3 guys couldnt budge it so I hooked the Cummins up to it, popped right out. I will say this is one heavy machine.

So far I love it. 1 of two issues I had with it are now solved. Seems the dealer didnt quite get the side cowls on right so the hood wouldnt fit snug down on it, that is now solved. The other thing I dont care for is the head lights are on all the time, no on/off switch for them, it is built right into the ignition switch. Should be an easy fix though.

Its due its first oil change already, got just a hair over 6 hrs on it but I did make $20 plowing the neighbor, he made me take it so I will hook him up for the rest of the winter.
