Wondering how the new, model 40XX tractors are working out? Haven't seen alot of discussion. Thanks.

I asked a similar question some months ago. Check this link ..........

Thanks for that thread. I was in the 'hunt' for a cab model 4066R a few months back. Some of the new features are very appealing - especially the rear 3pt fender controls and the downforce option.

Also, the command center with cruise, load match, motion match, etc. all in one, easy location would be a nice feature as well.

I'm not up to speed on the emission changes, entirely. If it's just a DPF (diesel particulate filter) and a regen-burn cycle; that's not a real impediment to the operation of the machine - IMO.
EGR... Well, I wouldn't prefer to have that in the 'middle' of the combustion cycle - thank you very much!

I have appreciated the overall performance of my previous Yanmar powered tractors (still have my '08 110TLB) so, the changeover was not a serious concern. That said, I have reservations about the size of the new power plant. From what I can determine, it appears to be a turbo'ed version of the JD1070 engine.
Quite a jump from 38hp to 66hp.. Might have to duct-tape the head bolts down to hold everything together!!

Nevertheless, I was curious how the new owner's and their tractors were faring.
