2006 Mahindra 4110
Hello everyone,

I am new to this site and message board, but after spending hours reading all the info i am very impressed! Everyones input was very helpful in my decision to purchase my new 4110. I got it with industrial tires, FEL, quick attach bucket with forks, tire chains and a fransgaurd v-4000 winch. As you may have figured out, this will be used in the woods mostly as i have a small but growing firewood business. I also have access to a 6' york rake, 7' hoe, and a 5' bush hog. If anyone else uses theirs for the same type of work, i'd love to hear how it has been working for you.

But in closing to my post, i just want to thank everyone for posting info on their experiance with their own tractors. It's nice to know that you can hear it from an actual end user rather then just a salesman at the dealer. My dealer was very helpful and has been selling them for over 5 yrs now. I have been seeing a lot more Mahindra tractors in this area. I am located in south eastern VT, and we have 2 Kubota dealers and a JD dealer all within 25 mins from my house. I couldn't see spending the extra couple thousand dollars on a "lighter" built machine from those guys. I think i made the right choice, and i will be able to make the money back that much quicker.

Thanks for reading!

Congratulations on your new 4110! We bought a 3510 in December, and I love that little tractor. Post up some pictures when you get a chance.

i'd strongly think about the A1s instead of the R4s, they work much better imo

I was all set to get the ag tires, but I also do some tree work for homeowners and i don't want to rip up there lawn real bad. i know a few guys with the r4's, they run chains like i bought and can get around real well in the woods and mud. I ran it for about an hour tonight after it was delivered to me, and i am very happy with the little bit of work i got done thus far! It is very comfortable to operate in my opinion.

Hi Mike,

Congrats, on the new machine. I've got about 2hrs. of seat time on mine. So far so good. Now if I only had some implements so I could go to work, (just a blanket harrow for now) Quick ? or two, do you have the ML112 loader? and what is the lift capacity on the forks. I've been thinking of a set in the future.

Hi there,

I do have the ML112 loader with the bobcat style quick attach system. I did not get the Mahindra brand forks because my dealer said they are a bit "cheesy". My dealer is also a Thomas dealer, so he put the package together with forks made by them which are much stronger. He said as long as i keep the load off the tips of the forks, I can still get the same 1900 or 2000 lb lift capacity. But keep in mind my tires are also loaded with about 600 lbs in each! The universal bobcat quick change system is the only way to go in my opinion. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Hope this helps!
