Hi gang, got out of work early today and had a chance to check all the fluid levels, grease fittings and hardware. Dealer had it all set but I always double check. Her she is waiting to work

Check the link below to see the pics of some of the slopes I have to deal with here.

I have to say I really appreciate the ride I am getting from the seat and bigger tires. Going to be much better on my ole body. The loader is quick and smooth. I was pleasantly surprised to find that with a full bucket of sand and fully loaded down with counter weight that I was able to climb the slopes with no bogging down. I put 2 hours of loader work on it this evening and was never disapointed. One thing I did notice is that I no longer have the floppy bucket syndrome like I had with the 2210. I can dump my bucket and tilt the bucket slightly to backdrag and it stays where I put it. Makes leveling after a dump much faster and less frustrating.

Tomorrow I will be using the subsoiler, and tiller and will get back with how that went. At this point I don't think I need be concerned at all about less HP than the 2210. No bogging with a full bucket up the slopes has pretty much put my mind at ease. Tomorrow may tell something different.

Later gang.

Lots of good photos. I like the log cabin look, especially from the back. Very nice house. I'm glad the 4110's working out for you.

I must say, I would not have guessed that the land was in Michigan though.

Cliff.

Cliff, thanks much. I am in mid Michigan. The wife and I love the views we have here. When we found the property it reminded us of the U.P.. I see deer and turkey almost every morning. I usually get up early and sit about where the tractor was in the photo posted and watch the sun come up. It's been 18 months of hard work and probably won't be done till next fall with what has to be done. Worth it all though. Someday I will be spending time back in my welding/machine shop again. Sunday is suppose to only get into the low 40's so I will probably be tearing out on old fence out of a tree line.

Bob--there has been a lot of chatter about the "less horsepower" issue between the 2210 and 4110. It's a non-issue except on paper and at that it is strictly a difference of rating methods and engine tuning. Your 4110 tranny runs off higher hydraulic PSI with greater flow rate and you will feel and experience more power and torque to the ground when needed. The lower revs of the 4110 at the 540 RPM PTO rated speed is in a better spot on the torque curve. The 2210 is set up to rev higher to reach the 540 PTO RPM which is why the HP number is higher. In draw bar pulling, 3PH pulling and pushing, loader digging and lifting, the 4110 is a stronger and more capable machine with more weight and ground clearance. I have belly mowed with both and neither machine so much as dropped 10-20 RPMs under full load. I haven't bush-hogged with either one so I can't comment there.

Enjoy!

Big Pete, I hadn't realized I didn't respond to your post yet. Sorry.....so many things going on right now. I never did get around to using any ground engaging implements yet. Did a total of 8 hours of loader work last weekend instead. Winter will be upon us soon and we still have some more trees to plant and perinial plants to get in. I have been getting home to late in the evening to do anything during the week. I really need to get some work lights put on that tractor. Maybe this weekend. First thing I need to do is get out the torque wrench and go over the loader and wheel nuts to make sure nothing has come loose. I am really enjoying the new tractor.
