The dealer did this for me. I would have to measure the wheelbase, but I'm thinking each tire probably moved out about 6 inches to create another foot of rear wheelbase. I'm certainly no expert, but my understanding is that they have a couple of things to work with to accomplish this. One would be just flipping the rear wheels, which because the mounting area of the wheels is offset creates a wider wheelbase. I think there is also the option to reposition the center of the wheel - basically removing the inner part and mounting it to the outer part differently to also create a wider wheelbase.

I'm not sure in the end which they did, but they told me it was "medium wide" as they only did one or the other. If I can remember, I'll try to get some pics later this week.

I also remember a used machine at the dealer which I orginally thought had hub extenders on it, because the wheels were way wide. However, the salesman showed me / measured that the hubs were still the same length, just that the mounting of the tires had been changed. In my mind, this would be the "fully wide" setting.
