Be careful what you ask for, you may get it! I was looking for some advice and have definitely gotten it, I'm now rethinking the whole deal, the two salesmen (different dealerships) are going to hate to see me coming before this is over.

Don't worry about that. I think it took about 4 phone calls, 3 dealer visits, and 100 emails to get my tractor purchase figured out. Better to get what you want and need than to just take what they recommend.

look at the reviews, i have one on a 4500. i now have about 85 hrs on it and im very satisfied. 4wd would be better for sure but 4 or 5 thousand dollars more. so far the only thing i have needed 4wd for is backing up hill. this is a very powerfull tractor, example....the other day i was box blading a hardened, dry clay road, box over flowing, fel down, two rippers down, in third gear at 2000 rpm.

Finally got closed on the farm and spent a significant amount of time in the houses and quickly realized that the 4500 is going to be too tall to safely work under hanging equipment, so off to the Mahindra place. They have a "used" 4110 with a loader coming in on trade today, less than 70 hours at @ $16k. Looks like talking with you guys will wind up saving quite a few headaches, literally and figuratively. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

That 4110 price is pretty good if it comes with a front end loader. I paid $19,300 for my 4110 and front end loader with a quick attach bucket.

I had my 4110 delivered Friday, 73 hours on it and worked it like a rented mule Saturday. Going with the 4wd was definitely the right move. After reading all of the input on the trailer and attachments, I decided to hold off on the trailer until I could get a stronger one. The only attachment that I had to have was the bush hog. So I got the 2004 4110 w/ml112 loader and a 6' bush hog delivered for $16,100.
It has some faded paint and after inquiry I found out that the previous owner owns 10 acres right next to the dealership and trades every couple of years, so he will not build a shed for his equipment. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I can't understand why someone would do this to such an investment. Anyway, thanks to everyone for all of the help and advice. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
