Fish, sorry I still didn't get time to take the pics. Just got in bout 10:30 this evening. Pushed brush with the tractor today. Its not as purdy as it once was but neither am I. I'll get the pics for ya soon. Bhh

you caved in the top??? I think your first idea was better. Get a specialized bucket for what you are doing. That one isn't going to last at all. Also, might not be a bad idea to have some channel welded on the existing bucket on the top for reinforcement. You must be really getting to work on it!

You are mainly picking up and moving rocks correct? The rock bucket with the grapple may be the way to go for you so ya don't have to hit em so hard. I must say I am impressed! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If you insist on making your tractor into a dozer, about every other time you go out, hit the FEL frame bolts with an impact wrench to insure they are tight, otherwise you could really spring something out of alignment that will be more costly than the bucket level indicator. Bob and Tim, Thanks for the advice. Pretty easy day today. Just pushed some dirt and gravel and dragged a few logs off the mountain with chains. This tractor is really awesome. It is much more powerful and much more stable than the L-4200 was. I had a hard time keeping Botas tires on the ground even with loaded tires. Even turned it over once but I havn't even lifted a tire on this one yet. I'm gunna load them when I get a chance. Should be even better. I welded a 2x2x1/4 piece of angle with 2 chain hooks on the top of the bucket today. It is much stronger now. I picked up a 8ft grader blade to make a toothbar and grapple out of. Just need to order some teeth now. I will check all the subframe bolts tomorrow. Thanks again--Bhh
