New 4608 coming soon

I'm trading in the ol' 1547 for a 4608 soon. Got a PTO backhoe on order for it also along with and 84" hydro plow. Snowblower will be next.
This will be my 3rd Massey in the last 7 years and if it is everything I've heard it is, probably my last.
We'll see shortly....

Nice choice, beautiful looking tractor and at 80 HP a very capable machine. What are your plans for use, that's quite a jump from your 1547?

My dealer was having a hard time finding what I wanted in the 1600 series. I didn't want to wait for the 1700's to roll out
since massey is having their 0% financing right now. So I took advantage of the 4608 I saw and just love. I plow 10 miles of tight mountainous terrain
all back country rough roads in the winter. I can use the extra power and take advantage of an 84" plow and snowblower. In summer its general ranch work and road maintenance.
Along with cutting 10 cords of wood.

I've priced a 4608 with loader using the Equine Savings program and the price point is too good to stay with my Deere Green. Should have my skidsteer sold next week, will then order the 4608. Going to get the open station version as I already have a cab'd Deere. To get a 5085e deere with loader would be another $10k, too much for a second tractor. Good luck with your 4608, they sure look like a great tractor.

Congratulations, the 4608 is a great looking tractor!!! Did you trade in your 1547? With 10 miles of road to plow, I understand you are going the bigger route. I feel my 1648 is just right for me, with the long and hilly driveway to be maintained. The 4600 series look like the big brothers of my 1600 series!

Yes traded the 1547 in. Got about $28,000 w/ the backhoe. Had a 1652 lined up w/front snowblower and the dealer sold it before we could buy it.
And could not find another so I went bigger.

I think you're going to like that 4608 compared to the 1652 and youre current 1547. Whole bunch more tractor. Nicer cab too.

That'll be an awesome tractor! If I were to trade up from my mx5100 it would probably be for a 4600 series massey.
