Picked up my 5325 yesterday. Ended up paying 37,100 ( I don't have the invoice here so don't remember the exact breakdown). This amount included a 542 loader, 3rd rear remote installed at the dealership, quick attach hitch, and H&H toothbar. The loader is not a self leveler. The 5325 is straddle mount, 12X12 power reverser, MFWD, economy PTO.

Don't know when I will get to carry it out to the farm for a workout, but just playing around with it at the house this seems to be a really, really great machine. I like my 5203 quite well but the 5325 is in a differenct ballpark to say the least.

I purchased my new 5325 last year and love it. Been baling hay with it and it does a great job.

You will love this tractor. I have a 5520 but there are many 5325's around here and I never saw one break even with terrible abuse. Your toothbar looks more rugged than most--do you recall the cost? Also, do you recall the price of the quick-hitch and is it cat I or cat II?

I have been debating a 5325 as well. Strong and smooth running engine and the straddle mount is fine. If you need rear weights most JD's from many years will fit and if you ever need front weights, nearly all of the suitcase weights for the last 50 years fit.

sweet looking tractor! did you purposley get R4's or were they already on the tractor? did you trade in your 5203 or do you still have it?

Sixdogs. Thanks for the info on the weights. My invoice is at home. Will look tonight if I can remember and let you know about the prices. JD saleman didn't do me any favors on the prices of these, but he provides a good service which is worth him making a few bucks to me. The quick attach is Cat 2 and the toothbar is H&H Manufacturing. I went H&H instead of Markham just because this JD dealer is an H&H dealer and I wouldn't have to fool with it myself. H&H by the way makes what they call a landscape bar--the entire bar is teeth. I have one on my 5203 and it is pretty slick. Use it on prickly pears and brush.

Rollingsfarm. I started to dump the 5203, but like cars didn't think a trade in would bring me what the machine is worth so I decided to hold on to it for a while. Its a good little tractor.
Don't really need all this equipment, but after working since I was nine, which is 49 years now, these green machines are my indulgence.
