New 5425

I still get a big grin everytime I go out to work with the tractor. Finally ran the hydraulics for the third valve to the FEL. I need some adapters to get it to mate with Skid Steer stuff. I want to borrow a friend's Anbo Root Grapple to test things out. 
We are in the middle of building a house. I used the FEL to dig the water line... yep, 400' of water line done with a FEL. That is a ditch about 2' deep and 8' wide. But, with a Reveal 4-N-1, you can close that ditch up and make it picture perfect in no time.
100 hour service has been done and we keep adding hours. Next big project is re-doing all of our fencing. Last time I ran fencing was 20+ years ago. I don't mind putting up new fencing, but taking down all the old stuff - not as much fun. I think when its all said and done, it'll be around 4 miles of wire run - about 1 mile of fencing times the 4 strands of wire.

Rather dreary weather out here today. Raining off and on all day, but I was dry and warm in my cab. I got my fields dragged when I would otherwise have waited for a sunnier day. I really do love this tractor!
There is a recall notice concerning a potential corrosion in the steering mechanism. I'll need to take care of that next month.
I'm truly enjoying my 5425!

the only reason i can come up with to convince myself why i should be happy i didnt buy a cab is that when the weather is dreary like it has been it gives me an excuse to stay inside and do no work
if i had a cab, i couldnt use that excuse. one day when i win the lottery(i have to start playing first) i'm going to come pick you up and get you to ride with me and help me pick out a 5425 just like yours
