Looks like the dealer and I came up with numbers I can afford, and the credit company didn't find any reason not to loan the money, so I guess I'll be a Montana owner next week.Trading in a JD 4600 which I have no complaints of, that tractor has served me very well. Wish I could have kept it and gotten the new tractor too, but need to keep the payments low to keep the wife, Can't afford a new wife AND a new tractor! Off post, but she reminded me this morning that 16 years ago I stood her up on our first date. And then I told her we're getting a new tractor tonight. And we're still together. And she's cooking us dinner. Take her out to dinner tomorow night? She'll have to drive of course, one of our first dates was marred by the fact that we got pulled over for expired tags in my 1964 Chevy II wagon. (She loved that car, best running vehicle I had owned up to that point. ) will keep everyone current on the tractor status. Will be hitting the ground running with a new tractor at the start of my busiest mowing season, not much room for error, a full plate as far as holiday mowing to get in front of Memorial Day weekend, with lots of acres to do, and spread around up and down the coast. The extra H.P. won't hurt.
