I have been searching for about 9 months and finally decided and purchased a b7800 with loader and 72"RFM It will be delivered next week. I can hardly wait. This forum has been a tremendous help.
Thanks

Congratulations ! I'm sure you'll enjoy your new machine very much . The wait can be miserable . But once you get on it for the first time it'll all be forgotten .

Congratulations on the new tractor. I waited for about a week, and I can pretty much tell you all there is in that darn manual. Now I am planning on doing my 50 hour service and I have completely forgotten about the week that I waited.

Donald,

Personally, I think it's a sneaky way on the part of the manufacturer's to get guys to read the manuals like they should. You're the perfect example! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif You said that ( ...I can pretty much tell you all there is in that darn manual. )

Lets face it. Guys aren't known for reading manuals first . We automatically figure we can operate the "new toy" just fine 'cause we're guys! Right?? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

So the manufacturer's intentionally delay the deliveries, knowing that we're soooo anxious to get the tractor, that we'll pour over that manual front to back, top to bottom, inside to outside, just to have something to do in relation to the tractor. And that way, we won't break them so fast! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ya think?? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Welcome!

Hey, keep me posted on that set up. What brand RFM? Tell me all about it. And when you use it, give me details. I am seriously considering trading my brushcutter. Or just buying a RFM. I have no more brush to cut..... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif It is nice grass now....

Garry,
I couldn't read the manual first.......they couldn't find it anywhere at the dealership. They promised to look for it and order one if it couldn't be located. I found it folded and tucked up under the front light wiring under the hood about 3 days later /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's pretty funny that you talk about reading the manual prior to taking delivery. I spent today reading the manual and taking notes. The delay probably is a good thing because I usually don't read the manual

The RFM is a 72" Bushhog Rear discharge.
I will let you know what I think after using it. It will be awhile because I have no yard yet. That will be my first project with the tractor.
