I've now spread about 40 loads of manure with my new ABI 65 ground driven manure spreader and after a few hiccups at delivery and during the first few loads, I'm pretty happy with the purchase.
Not as happy with the customer service as I live in Colorado and ran into some delivery problems, which caused me to call ABI only to learn that at 3:30MT/5:30ET that customer service was gone for the day. I ran into a couple of problems in that the location of the semi circle drive plates were not attached to the front of the unit as indicated they would be in the post purchase tutorials. I also ran into some rub marks in the paint, which came from Old Dominion putting something on the unit that allowed the paint to rub off. I reported both issues, but ultimately found the plates taped to the bottom of the front A frame. I was disappointed that the customer service guy suggested I go out and buy some Rustoleum rather than being offered to have a can of black paint (which matched the color of the spreader) sent to me.
The second problem I ran into was none of the bolts on one of the shredder bars were tightened and after 2 loads one of the bolts came off. When I called to talk about this issue, I had to ask for some replacement bolts rather than being offered them as again this was a lack of quality control before the unit was sent out.
I provide further updates as my use and experience with this spreader continues.
