B7610
I agonized over purchasing just the right tractor for a over a year and researched and asked questions and utilized TBN as a resource as well. Recently purchased B7610 with LA352 FEL and Woods B6500 hoe and am very satisfied. I have 3 acres and a very long driveway. Won't be using the Kubota to mow, still have my Deere lawn tractor, just couldn't part with it. Anyhow, just wanted to thank all the TBN postings I used to help me make my decision. I am sure I will have specific questions as I get more seat time (have 20 hrs. now).

Nice tractor and best of luck with it. My B7510 just turned 22 hours while mowing today. I have a LA 302 FEL and 60" Bush Hog mower. I noticed you went with the turf tires as did I. Any reason why you didn't go with the industrial R4s given that you have a backhoe? Speaking of the BH, how hard is it to put on and take off?

thanks
Jack

Skidmark25,

Welcom to TBN! Congratulations on your new do-it-all, multi-functional, 4-wheel, utilitarian vehicle - better known as a TOY /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Enjoy,
Terry

Jack,

The reason for the turf tires was that I am using it around the house, no problems with the hoe & turf tires yet. Also I'm planning to get a snow blower attachment and will need to put chains on the tires to get up & down the driveway in the winter and it will be better to put chains on turf tires rather than the R4 tires.

The hoe should be easier than the FEL to take off, I haven't taken it off yet but my friend has a B7800 and we took his hoe off and put back on in 10 minutes. 2 pins & 2 hyd lines, it is easier to maneuver in & out of the frame especially on un-even terrain because you have 3 pivot points - the boom & 2 feet.

Congratulation I am happy for you.

I found very valuable information on this forum, this place is great.

I am waiting for my B7610 with same FEL and a 4672A BH was supposed to be in on June 23rd but dealer had problems with delivery..... a part was missing on the backhoe.

So I am still waiting for it.....

Skid-- (Fill out your profile, please. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif) I have a smaller tractor than yours, a BX2230, that I have used for extensive snow-blowing and have never had need for chains. I went with the turfs for the fact that they perform very well in the snow. I think you will find the same results.

Don't buy the chains until you try it in the snow and if you already have them hold off on the install until you try it without (you might want to return them).

Are you looking at a front mount blower or rear?

I'm going to look into the snow blower after I try and use the FEL to plow. I don't think that the FEL will work because I have an un-even driveway but who konws.

I was told by the snow blower salesman last year that I wouldn't need chains no matter how steep the driveway was when I bought my 8hp Ariens due to the tires. 2 feet of snow later I ponied up the $40 for a set of chains. The 7610 has 4WD so I'll give it a shot without the chains first. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Very nice! Wish I could afford a bigger tractor myself!
