New and proud of myself

Kind of dumb to be proud of myself for this but hey I'm new to the country life and tractors.
Momma bought me for christmas a 60 gallon 3 pt. boom sprayer and a chain harrow. They arrived at TSC yesterday and I went to pick up. They loaded into the back of my truck with a fork lift. I'm watching and thinking to myself how are you going to unload at the house by yourself. So by the time I get home I have a plan, out come the straps, looped through the pallet and around the frame of the hay spear off we go. A little shaky but worked fine. I can see some home made pallet forks in the near future. After everthing was put up I walked into the house grinning from ear to ear, momma ask what I so pleased about after I told her she looked at me like I was an idiot. Well maybe I am but a pleased idiot indeed.

Well done, Mark. You brought an ear to ear smile to my face and a memory of a very similar situation which was when I brought home a new zero clearance fireplace, that weighed nearly 500 lbs. I didn't have pallet forks, and the pallet wouldn't fit into the bucket, so I managed to get the fireplace off the pallet in my trailer, slid about 1/3 of the fireplace into the bucket, strapped it, and then very carefully, picked it up and took it into the garage. Man was I sweating. All I needed was to tell her royal highness I dropped her new $8000 fireplace! Tractors are great! Welcome to the forum!
