New b with questions

I bought a GC2600 last Friday and have some questions about parts and operation.
I have already had 1 flat front tire that broke the valve stem. Had that fixed. Was doing some bush hogging today and had a loose limb pop up under the tractor and break all the blades off the hydro cooling fan and break the tach cable were it turns under the frame. Got the fan ordered through my dealer but wanted to know if there is anywhere to order parts online without having to go through my local dealer?
I am going to try to fix the tach cable but will probably need to order one of those as well.
2nd question, what should my idle speed be? right now it's about 1200rpm, seems high but this is my first tractor and diesel.
3rd ??, should something be sqeeling when I try to ease my bush hog up just an inch or 2, it doesn't happen if I'm pulling it all the way up.
How much can be done on the tractor with a broken hydro cooling fan? Thanks for any help...I've only got 7.7 hours on it right now.

The sqeeling is probably just hydraulic noise because the control valve is operating partially open. The idle should be a little lower, around 850-900 or so. Did the throttle cable get damaged as well as the tach cable and not allowing it to come down? You'll be alright for light stuff untill the fan is fixed, but keep in mind, it does help keep the hydro cool.
Oh, I usually back the brush mower over rough stuff to keep the tractor safe.

Thanks for the quick reply, The area to bush hog is about 3 acers so that's why I was moving forward and someone is paying me to bush hog it, so I didn't want to take several days to get it done. The throttle cable wasn't damaged, it came from the dealer set that high.
