Very sweet, and very good choice in machines! I'm not sure if a hydraulic thumb is an option, but get it if you can. I never knew the advantages of one until a couple of weeks ago when a friend dug my septic lines for me, and removed some shrubs for me in the process. Thay thumb is so convienient! Popped out rocks and shrubs with surgical precision!!!
Thanks guys. Did not get the backhoe thumb but I did have the third valve installed for the loader. It has the trigger switch on the loader handle. I did it this way because I plan to get a brush grapple.
Powerstroke444e,
For a 26 hp, the backhoe has a ton of power. It dug out this stump in about 45 minutes and I am still getting the hang of the controls. If you look at the stump carefully, you will notice that it had 3 oak trees attached to the one root. This tractor is plowing through sand 3 ft deep, pulling stumps, grading roads, clearing brush, and digging clay out of a new pond. It is an amazing machine. PS...it has been stuck in the sand twice while pulling a 4 ft box blade full of sand with ripper teeth extended all the way and loader bucket full of sand but one tap on the differential lock and it pulled right out. Amazing.
Thanks for the infromation, we have been looking. I tried to get the local deal to let us use his but I guess after all the parts he sells us he thought better & sent me to RSC they have a B21. He said if I like that one the B26 will put a bigger grin on my face. If it quites raining I will try that one out next week.

Very nice, you will certainly enjoy that machine. We have an L-39 setup similar to yours and it is great, having a hydraulic grapple on the FEL is also a great addition.
It is amazing how much work you can accomplish with one gallon of diesel fuel.
