New banner ad in JD sections

Deere has a new banner ad in their area on TBN. Let's all be sure to click through and give them some traffic, so they'll keep buying space and we get new servers and such. And a new chair if you do a test drive....

It's a great ad and I know we're driving people to the dealership. Several folks I know reported that the dealers had no idea, but people were test driving CUTs and asking about it quite a bit. The dealer I visited said that he wished he could have advertised "John Deere Days" this way!

I have clicked on it a few times, and also directed some friends to go there also.

We need Deere to help support our site, we support them.

My dealer didn't know about the free chair deal but filled out my form for me.

I think it's really weird that JD spends money on advertising
on this site while at the same time there is a 2 month long
post from a fellow who can't get his JD dealer (and JD corporate)
to fix his steering or advise him of why it doesn't work.

Looks like the advertising people look at the site, but
don't read it. Anybody in business knows happy customers
or unhappy customers able to discuss the resolution of their
problems are the best advertising there is.

Personally I think its quite interesting that many of the dealers I've worked with won't acknowledge the site and the benefit it brings. I tell them I do my research here and on the Deere website - they respond by saying that I have better information than do. Gee... then why don't they read the website and post?
