I lurked around here for a while getting used to the site layout and gathering info on BCS 2 wheel tractors. Owned and operated Troy Bilt stuff since my first real garden back in 1981. When my original Pony 5HP gave out I looked at the BCS units but was leery about "foreign" stuff. I ended up buying one of the last Troy Horse models a year or so before they went belly up. Also got one of their snow throwers on a close out as they quit making them.

I had a need for a brush cutter of some sort and look for a used Troy sickle bar unit. Most were too far to away to drive, too old or needed parts (eBay). My local dealer had a 2009 BCS 732 with a sickle bar that was a demo and after a few trips to talk things over I decided to get the BCS.

With the current $300 discount, the free Quick Coupling for the PTO and a hefty discount on the sickle bar I saved a bunch over a brand new unit. I'll eventually replace some of my other yard equipment with attachments for the BCS.

Good site with great info!
