Here's a pic of some bolt-on hooks on my SIL's new JD tractor. He didn't get them painted yet. I just got another set from Kenny D for my other SIL's new tractor. Good gift (good thing I dont have too many more SIL's).

They like the hooks cause you can mount 'em by just drilling a couple of holes. Nice product....and good service Kenny! Thanks ;)

Hooks look good, but isn't that a light materials bucket, with a single wall top? That's what it looks like anyway.

If so then some type of bucket top reinforcement might be needed to lift capacity loads.

As jb suggested I'd add some flat stock to that bucket. I welded mine to my light materials bucket and it messed the top up good I'll take a pic in the am. I'm going to fix mine and add the flat stock to it.

Good eye on the bucket. Yep...he has a 3032 and got the light duty 60" bucket. He mostly will clean up snow and do some general purpose loader work. I agree, it could be a bit light....but he doesn't use it too hard. I probably better give him a warning. ;)

It's all a bit of compromise when you get a light loader. Too much bucket weight can become an issue too.

I put a couple on the 3038 this week also! I was happily surprised that the Makita drill made all the holes and still had charge left on the compact lithium battery.

I'm not usually one of the "safety police" but be careful if lifting something heavy from just one of those chain hooks.

Having them mounted outside of the FEL arms will make the tractor quite tippy. Been there, done that - serious pucker factor.

The angle on the pictures may be a bit misleading. The hooks are actually directly in line with the cylinders. I also picked up 6' of chain to run between the hooks to provide for a centered single point pull location.

yeah they look fine as far as being in line with the arms. But you still can't use just one hook. especially with out ballast, it will try and slam the machine on it's side.
