New Boomer series

Hi everyone, i was just looking at the new boomer 30 and was just wondering who makes them for NH They surely don't look like the NH i used to have. The loader joystick is cable driven to the control valve, the hood is flat, no specs of who makes their engines.

New Holland did infact decide to let LS build a cheaper, no thrills, no frills, less expensive tractor and Stick a NH logo on it and call it their own. Dont be fooled..you get what you pay for. These are no comparison to the Boomer series that were built in Dublin, GA.

no yes they will have an "economy" boomer but the Boomer 30, 35, 40, 45 that is out right now, is an awesoem tractor. MUch better than the old Boomer series. Heavier tractor, better standard features, loader is better, enigne is better, (4 cylinders) even has a horn. price is good and the standard transmission is a 12x12 shuttle shift, syncronized and the 40 and 45 have a 16x16 shuttle with hydrostat being the option of course. so far we have been selling them liek hot cakes. THe green and orange dont even compare.

While I don't have as much info as you do being a NH dealer I have looked at and compared the 2 series. NH had LS build the New Boomer series to their (NH) specs for a specific market, that being the customer wanting a less expensive option. I have to disagree with the "much better than the old Boomer series" statement. There is a reason they are cheaper, for example:

You get what you pay for. I have seen and driven the LS versions. I did not like the layout or the ride. Personally it looks cheaper. By the way, my Boomer 8N has a horn, although I don't use it much.

Look, I worked at the manufacturing plant for the original Boomers and can testify for the difference between the two. The LS is no where in the ball park on ergonomics, quality, comfort, or style compared to an ISM driveline on the originals. I reviewed the LS at the Ag expo back in Oct and spoke with some of the big wheels of the company. It failed to impress me in any way other than the price differance. Its just a cheap, entry level unit, a price fighter...everyone wants something cheap now. Its disposable, after a few years use and it gives you trouble, git rid of it and buy a new one, thats what they want you to do.
