Has anyone heard when New Holland will be upgrading the current Boomers with largers engines?

froggy,
While I am not the most knowledgable on what NH has planned for future boomers, I can say that I am not aware of Any changes of Any kind planned for the boomer line.
Having just purchased approx. 1 month ago, my dealer mentioned nothing along the lines of bigger engines. Which doesn't say much because they also didn't realize that NH had changed the style of hazard lights from 2002 to 2003.
Maybe some of the other members with better knowledge will pipe in with more or better info.

My NH dealer is pretty straight up with me. About 6 weeks ago I asked him when that rumored 14LA loader for the TC29,33,etc. tractors was coming out. He said that 14LA loader will not fit on the current 29 & 33 (like mine) but that they will be redesigning those tractors and the 14LA will only fit the new models. He said he expects to know more about the changes later this fall. He's pretty sure that the front end will look a lot different (headlights, etc.)

Froggy, check out the picture of a TCE 50 someone just posted in NH Buying/Pricing forum. I think you may just be looking at a preview of the Class IV Boomers. It seems that Europe already has a bigger TC. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

The hood on the boomers will be changing before long to the same style as the new larger tj tractors about the same time this fall when the caseih farmall line comes out.

Just saw the TCE in the other thread. That will be a greater seller when it gets here.

Perhaps I should have given everyone a "tongue in cheek" flag on this. It just seems to me that all NH tractors look alike until you get up close and look at the details. In fact, the TCE looks like a Class III Boomer if you look at the way the front axle attaches to the wheel. My speculation is that the Class IV machines cannot compete with the TN series of tractors. The fact that all Boomers will look like the TJs is also really interesting. I love my hood line, but there is a lot packed under it and I'd understand a change. So, having said all of that, maybe I should confess that whatever I say is a combination of guessing and wishful thinking. Any resemblance to reality is purely accidental. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
