My dealer has a bunch of the new Boomers in stock. I got to look under the hood of the a new TC35DA & TC45Da.
They look as if they corrected some of the issues we posted here such as the leaking battery problem (they have a battery cap with a hose that runs through a hole and out the bottom of the engine compartment)
They changed the light headlight switch to a heavy duty big dial setup with four positions on it. This looks as though it would keep water from getting into the switch which could freezing.
They also put different pins on the rool bar with cables attached so that you can forget about losing your pins and rods.
New grill and headlight setup. The lights now go vertical up the front corners instead of horizonal across the front. I Think that this may work better with the FEL.
The gauges are more finer or precise looking, though they could be harder to view for some of us they may be a benefit to others. Looks like there may be more indicator or idiot lights.
The only thing that I do not like about the new set up is the hand rails on the fenders. Though they look better I do believe they take away some of the support from the fenders. I could move the fenders slightly back and forth and wonder if they will shake while the tractor is running or working. I tried to move the ones on my TC35D and they are quite solid compared to the newer style.
I also noticed that the hood latch seems to be a little thicker and longer comp[ared to mine.
Overall the rest seems be the same tractor with some cosmetical changes.
I wish I could afford a new one but my money has elsewhere to go.. New barn, vehicle, wife etc. etc.
Hopefully I can establish a new vehicle and tractor replacement plan-buy one pay it off then when one is paid off keep it awhile then trade the other in and pay that off etc. etc. Cold in Central NY
