I just got a 72" bucket new with a reversible cutting edge for $711 delivered from everything attachments.com . Not messing with you as I like to build some of my own stuff also. But I need to save a little more $ than that for my time. Looks like you got a good start though.

I wonder if they deliver to Canada?

I looked at different options for a 7 foot bucket and unfortunately I live way up north and building my own was the best option I had here locally. I have an in at NH here and the best they could do was 900 plus delivery. One guy quoted me 1200 to build me one and I decided to just go it on my own.

I will save a bit of cash but but I will learn something even if it is a couple of ways not to design a bucket. Besides it gets me out of Mama's hair in the house.

Well I have the basic shell tacked together today, now its time to burn lots and lots of wire.

Once this part is fully welded I will put an 8 inch wide back plate at 45 degrees over top of the 90 to prevent twisting.

Then I can do the mounts

Nike & Grayson, I do think they ship to Canada and I know they ship to NH. NH will be free shipping and pay the same price as I did. And Canada will depend on where you are in Canada. The best thing is to check out their website Everything Attachments | Skid Steer Attachments, Tractor Attachments, 3 Point Hitch Attachments, and Farm Tractor Implements. or give them a call. They advertize free shipping within a 1000 mile radius of their NC facility. They are great to deal with, have a well made product, and a very fair price. What more can you ask for? My bucket was even made in the USA. :D

OOPS, sorry Grayson, I just caught the BC. I guess that's a little farther than 1000 miles. Great country though, I guess that's the price you have to pay:(

What material are their buckets fabbed out of I am using all 1/4 inch except the mounts which are 1/2 inch

The 84 inch bucket here is 923 plus shipping and taxes so I would spend probably arounf 1200

The bucket I got is only available up to 72" and mine weighs in at 368 lbs with the bolt on cutting edge. I am not sure what thickness they are fabbed with but yours is probably heavier. I got mine with the skid steer attach which after having I would not do without. It seems that, at what it would cost you to buy one you are way ahead to fab your own and it will be heavier too ....Jim.

Yeah it will be nice and solid. I am still going to fix up and keep my smaller bucket but I am going to convert it to teeth.

My next projects are a 3 way blade for snow this summer and then a log grapple
