New BX 1850 Have Questions

I just purchased a new bx 1850 used for two hours
checked the transmission and front axle both are fluid levels are barely touching dip stick ????

Also when i lock three point hitch using speed and lock control under driver seat MMM no longer will move up or down is this normal.

Good thing you checked. I had the same issue with the fluid in the front axle on my BX 2230. I just topped it off until it was where it was supposed to be. Drive it around for another half hour and check it again.


That lock control is supposed to lock your MMM.

Grease the heck out of your deck too. For some reason, there seems to be a trend that dealers are underlubrication these devices. My guess is that Kubota ships dry, and other makes normally are pre greased.

My frustration is that if I can figure it out, why can't they, but that's another post...

Thanks for the reply's will top off fluids and also grease deck.

the deck adjustment knob has an area that says "top" when its set there you can utilize 3 pt implements without the deck raising up and down. Be sure the 3point hitch is fully raised so the knob will release from the "top" position.
