NEW BX IN THE WORKS

Rumor at the empire farm show this week is the new BX that may debut for 2001. It is supposed to be a BX with a non removable backhoe. When I asked why? I was told this was to give the hoe better ground clearance. Anyone else hear this? I am not sure if I would like mowing with a backhoe attached.

They already have one, (for many years) it's called the B21, and the backhoe comes off for 3 pt work. A locked on backhoe on a tractor that size would be a useless device (IMHO), a KX41 or bigger baby excavator would be more versatile if you did nothing but dig. That's why these JD NH and Kubota tractors are so popular, because we can do other things.

A dealer here in CT today told me that Kubota will be announcing in October a BX tractor/loader/backhoe. Also HST on some of the M series and some new Z machines.
