New BX22 Leak

I went out to put some tools away in my building today and noticed a leak under my FEL It was coming from the Bucket center cylinder top fitting ...the one with the curved pipe end. It had come loose. Anyone else had this??? Is there a way to keep this from loosening up all the time? Teflon tape??? etc....I only have about 10 hrs on it which was all FEL use. Huh, haven't heard/seen that one yet.

Had a leaky quick disconnect fitting on the rear after removing/attaching backhoe the first time; bad o-ring.

Had one of the quick disconnects on the FEL rubbing on the RH lift cylinder (you really have to look to find it). Rubs mostly when the bucket is way up in the air. Surfaced this winter doing snow removal and packing the piles up high.

Front steering cylinder mounting bolts (4) loose. Other loose bolts included motor mounts; go over the whole machine with wrenches.

This weekend I discovered a hydraulic leak on my BX2200. It was leaking by the left rear tire. The dealer sent a Mechanic out today and he found that the elbow fittings that screw into the hydraulic block were not screwed in tightly. He tightented them and reinstalled the hydraulic lines and all is fine now. This particular block was installed by the dealer when they installed the FEL.

I was pretty happy with the prompt service from my dealer.

Hmmm i dunno...I just thought it strange to start leaking so soon.....I did tighten it up and it seems to be ok for now. I raised the FEL a few times and you can see where this hose moves a bit when you raise it up a ways.....Just wondered if this was common....I figure its a good idea to check things periodically anyway but at only 10 hours it just seemed odd to me..... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
