BX23
Just got my new BX23 on friday the 2nd. Got it with 60" mowin' deck, snow blower and hydro assit plow, $20,000. Fair price I think thought not the best I've heard. However after putting 7 hrs on mowin', diggin' up stumps, taking away burn barrels and a few other things I don't much care what the price was. I am in love with orange iron. My biggest concerns right now are the following.
Where does the CD player go?
Why did they make a ridged tail instead of soft.
Can I get chrome wheels?
I got hooks welded onto the bucket and the rear tires filled with washer fluid.
I looove my wife, she said go for it!! What a woman. She not only likes the orange iron she sure is happy with the 0% financing.
I want to thank this forum for helping me decide on the BX23 as well. I've been reading it for a while now, great forum.
Do they have a turbo charged BX23? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hey,
did they tell you about the selector lever under the tractor that switches it into road gear? It's a little hard to get to, but you can get the BX up to 60 miles per hour on a strait away! If you have R4 tires all the neighbors will think their being straffed by a helicopter.

Don't get the chrome wheels. Something about the flicker of the chrome in the sunshine makes wild turkeys and pheasent follow you everywhere and try to mate with your tractor.

Enjoy your new BX.

Cliff . . . I've heard the same thing about those chrome hubcaps and gamebirds.

at_obuk . . . By the way, when you switch the BX into road gear, don't forget to have a pair of automotive "deer whistles" installed backwards on your FEL next to the hooks. When you install deer whistles backwards the deer will follow you home. But you have to get your speed up to make 'em work properly.

Did the dealer give you orange fuzzy dice too?

The turbo version of the BX23 is the the BX23t. They also have one with Nitrus Oxcide injection called the BX23NOX, but that one is only for use on tracks with banked turns.

CD player? Why not go for the Pop Up LCD screen to play movies? I got one of those on my backhoe.

Selector swith? I'm looking for it now. But somthing tells me that going 60mph without an airbag, windshield and helmet may be kinda risky.
Your right about the chrome wheels!! Got enough "turkeys" round here without attractin' more. Instead I'm going with the flat black wheels and raised lettering on the tires.
Thanks for the advice. Now where is that darn selector switch.................

Fuzzy orange dice? I want some!! Instead my dealer ordered me a KUBOTA clock. I think the idea of a plasma TV on the BH may be a little tricky to do, but I think it can be done. The only thing I gotta figure out is how to run the extension cord so it don't get tangled.
Phoned my wife, shes' goin' out to pick up the deer whistles now.
God I don't know what I'd do without you alls advice!!

Now don't get silly here, you don't use an extension cord, you wire an "inverter" into the BX electrical system (see the manual for the correct location to tap into the fuse block) and then run the power off the inverter. And by the way, as long as we are talking about wires, make sure you get the satellite hookup (get the special ROPS mounted dish), you don't want "cable" dragging behind the tractor any more than a cord.

I thought you always got that with the cup holder. Got to have a place for the pretzels.

OK! Think I got it together on this cable thing. Now I'm having trouble mounting the sorround sound system but I think I got it. I'm also going to change the seat to more of a recliner type. Now the wife is talking about a microwave. I think I might have to disappoint her on that one, the stereo is in the way.

at_obuk....... Kubota did make a few "experimental" tractors that came equiped with air bags........ yes, I am serious about this. Here is a picture of what happened to one when it went off during a tractor mishap...
